WoW Arena Championship: Ingame Titel freischalten (Update)

Update: Im Verlauf des gestrigen Abends haben die Entwickler von World of Warcraft überraschenderweiseden Titel “Kriegspatron” zusammen mit der damit verbundenen Heldentat bei allen qualifizierten Spielern in Europa und den USA aktiviert, die sich die am vergangenen Wochenende den auf Twitch ausgestrahlten Livestream zu den WoW Arena European Championships angeschaut haben. Wer diesen Titel bisher noch nicht besitzt und ihn gerne für seinen Battle.Net Account freischalten möchte, der muss sich am kommenden Wochenende (8. und 9. Oktober) ganz einfach nur einige Minuten lang den Livestream zu den North American Regionals auf Twitch anschauen.

WoW Arena World Championship – Europe

Es handelt sich dabei, neben einem Turnier mit Preisgeld, auch um die Qualifikation für das Finale auf der BlizzCon 2016. Am 08. und 09. Oktober findet solch eine Vorentscheidung auch noch einmal in Nordamerika statt.

Die PvP-Kämpfe werden auf Twitch und Youtube live ausgestrahlt, teilweise kommentiert von diversen Moderatorn. Ihr habt zudem die Möglichkeit einen Ingame-Titel freizuschalten, den Patron of War. Dafür müsst Ihr Euren Twitch-Account mit dem Battle.net verknüpfen und Euch den Livestream ansehen.

So verknüpft Ihr Eure Accounts

• Loggt Euch zuerst auf twitch in Euer Konto ein
• Klickt nun auf Euren Account-Namen (rechts oben) und wählt dort das Einstellungsmenü
• Klickt auf den Menüpunkt „Verbindungen“
• Sucht dort nach „Battle.net“ und folgt den angegebenen Schritten

Wie lange Ihr dem Livestream zuschauen müsst und ob es dabei überhaupt eine Vorgabe gibt ist bisher nicht bekannt. Doch das Spektakel wird vermutlich sowieso unterhaltsam sein bei der Prominenz der Teams.

After battling their way through some intense qualifier cups, Europe’s top World of Warcraft Arena teams are ready to prove that they’re the best in the region. The Legion may have crashed into Azeroth since the last time they faced off, but these competitors will be ignoring the demon invasion in favor of PvP glory later this month.

The World of Warcraft Arena European Regional Championship will take place in Kiev, Ukraine from Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 2. We’re heading to one of the biggest esports venues in Europe, the Kiev CyberSport Arena, where eight teams will fight for a share of $100,000 USD. And that’s not all—the top three teams will also qualify for the 2016 World of Warcraft Arena Championship at BlizzCon 2016, where they’ll take on the best players from around the globe.

How to Link Your Accounts

• Log in or create an account on Twitch.
• Navigate to the Settings menu by clicking your account name in the top-right corner of the home screen.
• Navigate to the Connections tab of the Settings menu.
• Find the Battle.net section then follow the given instructions after selecting a region and clicking Connect.
