WoW: Ist das schon Classic Plus? China bekommt exklusive "Titan Reforged"-Server

In China startet ein völlig neues WoW-Classic-Experiment: die Titan Reforged Server. Sie könnten ein Vorgeschmack auf Classic+ sein.

Auf den neu angekündigten Titan-Reforged-Servern in WoW geht's nicht einfach um Nostalgie, sondern um einen Mix aus alten Raids, neuen Regeln und besonderen Belohnungen. Während chinesische Spieler bald loslegen können, fragt sich die Community im Westen: Könnte hier der erste Schritt in Richtung Classic+ gemacht werden?

WoW Titan Reforged ist exklusiv in China: Ist das hier schon Classic+?

Zum 20. Jubiläum von Warcraft in China haben Blizzard und Netease eine spannende Neuerung angekündigt: die exklusiven Titan Reforged Server. Sie bieten chinesischen Spielern ein völlig anderes Classic-Erlebnis, das es so im Westen bisher nicht gibt.

Auf diesen Servern könnt ihr alle Raids aus Classic, The Burning Crusade und Wrath of the Lich King erleben - allerdings nicht in der gewohnten Reihenfolge. Stattdessen werden die Schlachtzüge zufällig freigeschaltet, angepasst auf Level 80 und jeweils für 25 Spieler ausgelegt.

Ein weiteres Highlight sind die legendären Waffen wie Donnerzorn oder Schattengram, die während der Saison verbessert werden. Dazu kommen neue exklusive Erfolge, die nur auf den Titan-Reforged-Servern verfügbar sind.

Time stands still here, epic stories converge, and classic raids coexist. World of Warcraft's Titan Reforged server, "Time," will officially launch in November 2025！

Starting today, reservations for the Titan Reforged server "Time" are officially open. Complete the reservation activity and share it with your friends to get heirlooms and other launch gifts.

In the meantime, we're excited to have World of Warcraft Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and WoW Classic VP of Production Clayton Stone share some insights into the Titanforged server.

• The Titan Reforged server, "Time," will be based on the Wrath of the Lich King Classic server. Character talents, skills, and other content will continue to use the level 80 framework. Raids and world bosses will also be adjusted to level 80 difficulty, and a series of new exclusive achievements will be available for everyone to challenge.
• Team dungeons from "Classic World", "The Burning Crusade", and "Wrath of the Lich King" will be opened in random order. All team dungeons (including the original 10-person team dungeons) will have only a single difficulty and are based on 25 people.
• Equipment will also be recast to level 80, and sets will only have 2-piece and 4-piece special effects. Some sets will also have new designs and adjustments.
• Legendary weapons can be continuously upgraded, maintaining their strength throughout the Titan Reforged server's "Time" patch. Taking on the Lich King with a Wind Blade or wielding an Orange Axe against Illidan is now a reality!
• The Titan Reforged server, Time, will also feature a new system designed to help your characters, alts, and friends upgrade their gear faster than ever before. Players can use the new in-game currency, Emblems of Order, to redeem reputation rewards and professionally crafted gear.
• We will be opening PVE and PVP servers simultaneously. Meanwhile, the "Mists of Pandaria" Susha Pack is now available, including:
  • The Evil-Stained Cloud Dragon, Evil-Stained Riding Tiger, Pet Joy, and Evil-Stained Tea Set can be obtained simultaneously on the Titan Reforged server "Time".
  • In addition, purchasing the Susha Epic Gift Pack will grant you at least 3 days of early access to the Titan Reforged server "Time"*. After purchase, you can log in to the Titan Reforged server "Time" in advance during the early access period and play the game content first.

We have also prepared a variety of activities to welcome the grand opening of the Titan Reforged server "Time" with players:

• Starting from September 23, 2025, complete the Titan Reforged server "Time" reservation event and share it with your friends to receive heirlooms, backpacks and other service preparation supplies after the Titan Reforged server "Time" is launched.
• Starting September 23, 2025, defeating the final boss of Icecrown Citadel of any size and difficulty in Wrath of the Lich King Classic will earn you the Titan Reforged Invincibility mount on the Titan Reforged server, Time. This mount will be available after the Titan Reforged server, Time, launches. Stay tuned!
• After the Titan Reforged server "Time" is opened, experience bonus will be enabled to help everyone level up quickly!

Was bedeutet das für den Westen?

Während sich chinesische Spieler also auf frischen Classic-Content in WoW freuen dürfen, stellt sich die Frage, was das für uns im Westen heißt. Blizzard hat betont, dass die Titan-Reforged-Server im kommenden Jahr das Hauptprojekt des Classic-Teams sein werden. Bedeutet das, dass wir uns hierzulande nur mit "Mists of Pandaria"-Classic und dem Burning Crusade Anniversary begnügen müssen?

Ganz so schlimm sieht es wohl nicht aus. Netease hatte schon zuvor bestätigt, dass neues Classic-Material in Arbeit ist und die nächste große Version von Classic zeitgleich in China und im Westen veröffentlicht wird. Für uns stellt sich also weniger die Frage, ob Classic+ kommt, sondern eher, wann es endlich so weit ist.
